We welcome groups of all kinds. Whether it’s a personal interest or study visit, we’d love to see you. Any visit to the museum is an opportunity to explore the world of freemasonry.

Self-guided visits for groups

Look around the Museum at your own pace without a guide. For groups of up to 50 people, you can simply turn up. For groups of more than 50 people, get in touch to book.

Guided group tours

Delve deeper into freemasonry with the help of a guide. This is the most rewarding way to see the Museum's galleries and Freemasons' Hall's ceremonial areas including the Grand Temple, shrine and vestibules. We run tours regularly and they’re free.

Find out more and book tickets online here (up to to six people).

We can only accommodate 25 people per tour. Get in touch if you’d like to book a guided tour for more than six people.

Our tours are open to the public, so your group is likely to include a diverse mix of people who may have no prior knowledge of freemasonry.

Private tours

If you’d like to visit outside normal opening hours (after 5pm), you can book a private tour. Private tours last around 50 minutes and cost £200 for up to 25 people. For larger groups, there’s the option of splitting the group and running two tours, one after the other. The cost is £350 for up to 50 people.

Contact us to book.

Special interest groups

If there’s a specific area of freemasonry you’d like to explore, we can tailor a tour to suit you. We charge £200 for a tailored group visit for up to 25 people in normal opening hours. Out of hours (after 5pm) we charge £350.

Students

You’re welcome to bring your further or higher education students to the museum. Visits during normal opening hours are free. You can just turn up, or, if you’d like one of our staff to help you get the most from your visit, please contact us before you come.
