Over the years we have been digitally cataloguing our Museum, Library and Archive collections for greater access. Our experts have also collaborated with academic organisations to develop valuable online resources for the study of freemasonry.
We partnered with the Humanities Research Institute at The University of Sheffield to develop Lane's Masonic Records. This is a listing of all the lodges established by the English Grand Lodges from the first Grand Lodge in 1717 up until 1894.
We partnered with the King's Digital Lab at King's College London to develop Masonic Periodicals Online. This resource enables the most significant masonic periodicals from the period 1790 to 1900 to be searched.
The Lodge Family Tree traces the history and evolution of the lodges of England and Wales up to 2019. The application was developed and data compiled by W. Bro. J.G. Amos, The Earl Amherst Lodge No. 3230.
The paintings and sculptures in our collection have all been photographed and catalogued in partnership with Art UK. Featuring many recognisable figures from history who were freemasons, there are also official portraits of Grand Officers and significant members.
Quatuor Coronati Lodge research resources gives access to searchable indexes for Volumes 1-127 and individual indexes to volumes 128-133, as well as a complete list of papers and authors 1886-2020. It also provides links to Volumes 1-60 on archive.org and has downloadable PDFs of QC Antigraphas Volume 1-11, which are reprints, facsimiles and translations of important early masonic items such as the first Grand Lodge minute book. Museum of Freemasonry provided the copies of the antigraphs to enable this resource.
