Volunteers are the backbone of charity work in the UK, and the Museum of Freemasonry relies on these generous individuals too. We have a range of volunteer roles, from helping visitors to working behind the scenes with the collections.

You can download the descriptions for current volunteer vacancies below. You don’t have to be a freemason to be a volunteer, and you don’t need any specialist knowledge—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

If any of the roles interest you, complete the application form and one of the team will be in touch.

Our Volunteer Policy includes more information about the volunteering programme, including how we match volunteers to roles.

Role descriptions

Excellent museum and the building is exquisite. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would go again.
