Freemasons’ Hall is a landmark to Londoners and a beacon for visitors. Home of the United Grand Lodge of England and Museum of Freemasonry, it is one of only a few Art Deco buildings in London to still be used for its intended purpose, in what is the third hall to occupy Great Queen Street since 1775.

Public Guided Tours
Prices start from £12.50 per person and tours can be booked directly online by clicking below. There are 15 spaces available per tour and tours last approximately 55 minutes.
Public guided tours run Tuesday to Saturday at 11am and 3pm. Available dates and times will be displayed when you click to book.
Museum Guided Tour
Embark on a captivating 55-minute guided tour of the Museum of Freemasonry, led by our experienced guides, and delve into the intriguing history of Freemasonry, from its inception with the founding of the first Grand Lodge in 1717 to its flourishing journey across the globe throughout the centuries. Prepare to be enthralled as you unravel the fascinating story of this 300-year-old institution.
Where possible, we will also include a visit to an active lodge room or two as part of your tour.

Grand Temple Guided Tour
Venture into the unknown as our experienced guides lead you on a 55-minute voyage of discovery into the 300-year-old history of Freemasonry. Like our Museum tour, your journey will begin in the North Gallery of the Museum of Freemasonry before taking you on to experience the ornate splendour of the ceremonial areas of Freemasons' Hall. Marvel at the magnificence of the Grand Temple, with its mosaics, organ and stained glass windows.

Please note: We will always endeavour to show you the Grand Temple on this tour, however as Freemasons’ Hall is a working building the route of the tour can consequently change at short notice, and we cannot always guarantee in advance, what you will see.
On the rare occasion we cannot access the Grand Temple, you will be shown alternative spaces.

Access
Freemasons’ Hall is a large building; all tour activities take place on the first floor, which is accessible by lift. You can expect to walk and stand for up to an hour whilst on the tour, so we advise wearing comfortable shoes.

Refund Policy
For Public Guided Tours, refunds can be requested up to 14 days prior to your tour. If you cancel a tour within the 14 day period before a tour, no refunds will be given. All refunds will be the ticket price, minus our ticket agents (Eventbrite) fees that are non-refundable.
Please note: We ask all visitors to arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of their tour. No refunds will therefore be given for late arrivals.
As stated, we cannot guarantee what areas you will see on your tour, therefore no refunds will be given for tours that exclude the Grand Temple.
